Accommodations
NACAL 40 will take place at the Continuing Studies Conference Center at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey on Saturday, February 18th, 2012 and Sunday, February 19th, 2012. In addition to our meeting space, the CSCC also features a limited number of guest rooms thoughtfully designed to provide comfort while attending the meeting. All guest rooms include a separate workspace, ample lighting and high speed wireless internet access. At present, all rooms at the CSCC have been reserved.
Participants who wish to stay in the vicinity of the Conference Center are encouraged to inquire with the Heldrich Hotel, a brief (20 minute) walk along George Street from the CSCC.
Directions
The CSCC provides detailed driving directions on its website. To get to New Brunswick using public transportation, it is best to use NJ Transit, which departs from Philadelphia, New York Penn Station, and the EWR Liberty Airport Station for New Brunswick along the Northeast Corridor line every 20 minutes during peak hours. The NJ Transit website includes a "Trip Planner" application that will give you precise information about traveling to the New Brunswick Station, including suggested itineraries, ticket costs, and departure times.
The CSCC is located at 178 Ryders Lane in New Brunswick, NJ. From the New Brunswick Train Station, the quickest way to reach it is either by taxi (Victory Taxi operates from the riverside exit of the train station, at the corner of Somerset and George; call (732) 545-6666) or by campus bus. During weekdays, the EE bus departs from the Train Station stop at the corner of Somerset and George every seven minutes. Ask for the Katzenbach stop, which is right next to the CSCC. During weekends, the Weekend 2 bus will also take you from the Train Station to Katzenbach, but it only departs every 40 minutes. You can find the departure time of your bus at NextBus.
